Okay, so this morning on the show we decided to talk about the new fashion trends for people going back to school. Then we got to thinking….what trends should we bring back? Thanks to tons of calls and emails here are some of our ideas!

Wow, what an amazing rock show! I new CrueFest was gonna rock…I just didn’t realize how much! Going into the show I wasn’t a huge Motley Crue fan, but I sure am now! By far the highlight of the show for me was Papa Roach. Lead singer Coby Dick knows how to engage an audience for sure! Nothing gets a crowd going like jumping into the stands and climbing up 10 rows! I posted a couple of videos I took during their set on our facebook page. Make sure to check them out!

As for the rest of the bands…

I was really looking forward to Trapt. The only crappy thing was that they had to hit the stage at 5 o clock when there was barely 500 people at CUC! I’ve been wanting to see Trapt since they were in town 4 years ago when they opened up for Nickelback. They still put on a great set! Oh, and on a side note make sure you check out their new album, it’s soooo good!

Sixx Am also put on a good show! I wish they were on for longer since I spent most of their set waiting in the beer line up….

Buckcherry, well we all know they can rock. Best song for me was Next To You. There’s just something about the bluesy feel of the song that gets you going! Oh, I can’t forget Crazy Bitch either. Who doesn’t like that song??

And the Crue….all I can say is OMG. I knew they were crazy, but I never expected the spectacle that the band put on. From the pyro to the lights to the boobie cam the Crue sure lived up to their name. If it wasn’t for the drunk guy behind me with no shirt on I’m sure the concert would have been a perfect one! LOL.

So…..last night was the big show! What did you think?? I thought I’d share some of the highlights from the concert.

First off, how great was Wyclef?? Man, that guy has talent! I loved when he sang Gone Till November, and when he pulled that girl on stage and serenaded her with his guitar.  No Woman No Cry was also cool!

Sean Paul did his thing….he was a little tough to understand at times, but he still gave a great performance. Temperature was for sure the best part of his set!

I missed Kardi unfortunately, but I was glad to see him come on stage for Dangerous with Akon! That was definitely the best song of the night, followed closely with The Sweetest Girl!

And as for Akon, all I can say is WOW! That guy knows how to please a crowd! Fire, gunshots, stripping and flying over the crowd! Talk about entertainment!

This concert was probably the best ”PARTY” show I’ve ever seen. I felt like I was at a club with every one of the performers!

Okay, so it’s been awhile since I wrote a blog, I usually leave that up to Marc since he’s the “funny one.” However, both Marc and Blake have been bugging me to write a blog so I figured I would today, just because I’m in a good mood!

So I have a few random thoughts about last night’s MMVA’s in Toronto…

1) What is with Rihanna’s hair?? She had a cute pixie cut and now it looks like they put a bowl over her head and cut around it! C’mon Rihanna, you make enough cash, can’t you get a decent haircut??

Rihanna did take home a couple of awards last night. One for MuchMusic.com Most Watched Video for Umbrella and the other for Best International Video for Don’t Stop the Music.

2) New Kids on the Block can still rock it! No matter how much people make fun of them, the group can still sing (not as good as they used to though)! I really liked the medley of old songs with Step by Step, Hangin’ Tough and the Right Stuff. Their new song  “Summertime” however isn’t the greatest. Meh, maybe it will grow on me!

3) Does Jacob Hoggard of Hedley care what he looks like??? Seriously, how many people can get away with wearing jean capris and a fanny pack to an awards show? Oh, and Jacob, please lose the beard. Even Marc Michaels looks better in a beard than you do!

4) Girlicious! What can I say, I love them! Yah, so they were formed on a reality show to mimic the Pussycat Dolls, who cares??! There first single rocks! Make sure you check out the song “Like Me” if you haven’t heard it yet. It’s awesome!

Overall, I’d give the MMVA’s a 6.5 out of 10 this year. I thought there were some good performances like Ill Scarlett and Kardinal and Akon. What drove me crazy was the stupid camera work! C’mon Much people, get it together! I did feel sorry for the performers and presenters though, doing that in the rain would have sucked!

What did you guys think of the awards? Is Canada stepping it up now? Are we even close to the MTV Music Awards?

So I decided to stop shaving altogether until either Cassie or Blake actually brought it up on the air.  It’s been like 2 weeks and nothing. (Yah it takes me like 2 weeks to grow a beard.)  Check out this baby!

Not bad hey? A little patchy, but I think I’m really starting to become a man…

So the girls didn’t even notice.  They just think I’m lazy and don’t shave.  In their defence nobody else noticed either not even Bender and he’s always kissing me…So I thought I’d trim it down to the famous Goatee..

You like? This is a little more maintenance though.  I have to trim it and shave all around the outside. 

Then I Thought I would try something I’ve wanted forever!!! The Sweet Sweet Handlebar!!

When you walk into a room with this baby people notice you.  I think they might even fear you.  If I actually had this on a regular basis I would probably even start a fight here and there, cause I look tough.

You know how much I love to share awesome sh** with you guys :)…well here is your Monday morning TREAT!

The World News caught up with Hot Pregnant Dude and his wife, Nancy, at their home in Oregon. He’s expected to pop out a baby girl in about 4 weeks. He said they have chosen a name, but they aren’t revealing it just yet…. I think Feather (said at a whisper) would be a freakin awesome name…but it’s my name for my spawn, and they can’t have it!!!!

Anyways…

34-year-old Thomas said they are already talking about having more kids. Thomas said, “So much so we might even have more children. We will just see what the experience is like with our daughter’s arrival first and then give it some thought.”

and…here’s the picture…(if you’re wondering about the scars…that’s where his boobs used to be…how is the baby going to breast feed now? hmmm…hopefully he posts pics of that too!)
